Overview

AutoGLM is Zhipu's family of "hands-on" agents: built on GLM models, it can operate phone apps on your behalf — ordering food, booking tickets, sending messages — and drive a browser on desktop to collect and organize information. Later variants like AutoGLM Rumination combine deep research with execution, autonomously browsing the web through long research chains. It is one of the representative China-built attempts at GUI (graphical-interface) agents. It fits individuals who want to try "AI operating my phone or computer" and technical teams studying agent execution. As a consumer product its task stability still depends on UI changes, and enterprise integration requires Zhipu's separate business offerings. Data stays in mainland China.
